Focus Point has been continuously organizing blood donation campaign for more than 10 years. Blood is the most precious gift that anyone can give to another person. Generally, cornea is the outermost transparent and protective dome shaped surface of our eyes. Thanks to its transparent nature, we are able to see this wonderful world. Corneal topographer is the instrument which helps to take a full detailed mapping of the corneal curvature and it is done in a painless and non-invasive way. It plays an essential role in planning intraocular lens implantation in cataract surgery, planning laser vision correction (LASIK), and contact lens fitting especially in orthokeratology (ortho-k) contact lens.

Eyes are windows to our body. About 80% of what we perceive is related to our sense of light, and we can literally reduce the odds of blindness or vision loss through routine eye checkup.

The famous Italian architect, mathematician and inventor Leonardo da Vinci produced the first known sketches that suggested the optics of the human eye could be altered by placing the cornea directly in contact with water.
