Have you ever witnessed the pure joy of a child seeing the world clearly for the first time? That wide-eyed wonder, the excited giggles, and the look of newfound confidence, these moments remind us why we do what we do.

At Focus Point Vision Care Group, we believe that vision is more than just sight, it’s a child’s window to learning, growing, and dreaming big. That’s why we kicked off 2025 with our school eye screening initiative at Sekolah Kebangsaan Petaling 1 on 19 March 2025, in partnership with Rohto Eye Care, under the "Sending Love & Care: Joy of Seeing 2025" Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.

More than 300 B40 students received comprehensive eye screenings, and over 70 children were found to need vision correction. Some had never even realized they couldn’t see clearly. But when they put on their glasses for the first time, their faces lit up with smiles, and their eyes filled with excitement. That moment, that feeling, is why we are making vision our mission.

More Than Just Glasses—A Brighter Future

A pair of glasses may seem simple, but to a child, it can mean the difference between struggling in school and excelling in class, between feeling left out and feeling empowered. This initiative directly supports United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3 – Good Health and Well-Being, ensuring that every child gets the opportunity to see, learn, and thrive.

As we left the school that day, we carried with us something priceless, the warmth of those children's smiles, the gratitude in their parents' eyes, and the reassurance that our work is truly making a difference.

This is just the beginning. There are many more children out there who need our help, and we won’t stop until every child has the chance to see the world in all its beauty.

Together, we make a difference—one pair of eyes at a time.
