On 23 June 2026, Focus Point Vision Care Group Sdn Bhd and Focus Point Caring Hearts Charity Foundation proudly formalised a Memorandum of Collaboration (MoC) with the Malaysia Association for the Blind (MAB) during the Global Accessibility Awareness Day celebration.

The launch ceremony was graced by Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Digital, reflecting the nation's collective commitment towards building a more inclusive and digitally accessible Malaysia.

A Partnership That Goes Beyond Awareness

The collaboration signifies a shared commitment between Focus Point and MAB to strengthen accessibility, promote inclusion, and improve the quality of life for the blind and visually impaired community across Malaysia.

As part of this three-year collaboration, eligible MAB members under the OKU-BL category will enjoy exclusive privileges and additional discounts on selected eyewear, assistive technologies and vision care solutions at participating Focus Point outlets nationwide, making innovative vision care more accessible and affordable.

This initiative reinforces Focus Point's commitment to removing barriers and ensuring that innovation reaches those who need it most.

In conjunction with the collaboration, Focus Point Vision Care Group Sdn Bhd and Focus Point Caring Hearts Charity Foundation also proudly sponsored 10 units of Solos AirGo V Smart Glasses to MAB for distribution to deserving beneficiaries.

Powered by artificial intelligence, the Solos AirGo V Smart Glasses offer real-time assistance that can enhance independence, improve accessibility, and enable users to navigate daily life with greater confidence.

While the contribution may be modest, its impact extends far beyond the devices themselves. It represents an investment in independence, inclusion, and equal opportunity.
